Wendy received a BSc from the University of Toronto and a PhD in neuroscience from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF. She is interested in how oligodendrocytes and myelin help orchestrate neuronal maturation and plasticity during development and for lifelong cognition. Outside of lab, she enjoys traveling with her family, exploring the incomparable Toronto food scene, singing, and sleeping.
